Carmel

Where: City Center
Details: This year’s CarmelFest will have free, live entertainment on three stages. Visitors can enjoy acts such as the Carmel Symphony Orchestra, My Yellow Rickshaw and more.

Cicero
What: Lights Over Morse
When: Noon, July 2 to 10 p.m., July 4
Where: Downtown Cicero and Community Park
Details: Drawing more than 10,000 each year, guests of this year’s Lights Over Morse festival will see Next Degree, an Indianapolis-based party band, in addition to more than 20 attractions and events throughout the town. Fishers
What: Symphony on the Prairie’s Star Spangled Symphony
When: 8 p.m., July 2, 3 and 4
Where: Conner Prairie, 13400 Allisonville Rd., Fishers
Details: Celebrate America’s birthday with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s annual performance to salute to military service members. Cost: $32 at the gate ($29 advance); $14 for kids ($12 advance)

What: Blast on the Bridge
When: 5:30 p.m., July 4
Where: Geist Reservoir Bridge, 11691 Fall Creek Rd.
Details: Attendees can enjoy a boat parade, skydivers, music, food vendors and a KidsZone. Fireworks begin at dusk.

Lebanon
What: Boone County Fireworks
When: 2 p.m., July 4
Where: Lebanon Middle School, 1800 N. Grant St.
Details: The parade begins at 2 p.m. and fireworks begin at 10 p.m.

Sheridan
What: Parade and Celebration
When: 10:30 a.m. (parade) and dusk (fireworks), July 4
Where: Biddle Memorial Park, 610 E. 10th St.
Details: Parade registration is from 9 to 10 a.m. at Sheridan High School, where the parade begins. The parade ends at Biddle Memorial Park, followed by vendors and activities.

What: Westfield Rocks the 4th
When: 4 p.m., July 4
Where: Asa Bales Park, 205 W. Hoover St.
Details: As the largest community gathering in Westfield, a car show, vendors, bands, a Kids Area and more will be available to all who attend.

What: July 4th Fireworks
When: 5 p.m., July 4
Where: Lions Park, 115 S. Elm St.
Details: Food and music begin at the park and are followed by fireworks at dusk. Parking at Lions Park is $5. The rain date is July 5.
