The community is invited to Grand Park for “Family Friday” on July 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Guests should bring their own equipment to play on the fields and enjoy a bounce house provided by the sponsor, Maple Park Village. Concession Stand 4 will be open throughout the event.
This event is free to the public. It will be held on the synthetic multipurpose fields at Grand Park and event parking will be in Lot C. The next “Family Friday” will be August 7th and additional events will be held monthly throughout the summer and early fall. A full schedule of dates will be posted on the Grand Park website once confirmed. “Family Fridays” are being presented in partnership with Maple Park Village.
“We encourage kids of all ages to come out and enjoy the park,” Mayor Cook said. “Grand Park is an extraordinary accomplishment for our community and we want everyone to experience it for themselves.”
