Construction of the new US 31 interchange bridge over 106th Street will require temporary closures of eastbound 106th Street between northbound and southbound US 31 beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 9 a.m. until approximately 9 p.m. The closure is planned to repeat each day this week through Friday, Aug. 14.
Changeable message signs will be used to notify motorists of the closure. Southbound traffic exiting to eastbound 106th Street and eastbound traffic on 106th Street will be directed south to 103rd Street to access northbound US 31 and 106th Street. Mainline US 31 traffic and westbound traffic on 106th Street will not be affected.
