The 18th Annual Carmel International Arts Festival is proud to accept as a sponsor, the Hoosier Salon.  The High School Art Show will be exhibited and sponsored by the Hoosier Salon, located at 22 North Range Line Rd. Artists from Carmel High School and University High School will be displaying their talent.

Jim May is the executive director of the Hoosier Salon Patrons Association.  He is looking forward to seeing the diverse high quality art offered by the students.

“It is high on our agenda to be a part of the Carmel community and bring people together at the Hoosier Salon,” May said.

May said this is step in a broader partnership with art teachers and students.  He observed that many of the students will remain artists throughout their lives and some will go on to become professionals. May said he looks forward to supporting these young people by bringing groups of student to Hoosier Salon and sending artists to the high schools.

Anyone living in Carmel knows that our community is all about the children. The Carmel International Arts Festival is always proud of our student art and happy to have the participation of such talented young people.  This art exhibit is going to be as professional and important as any other show at the Hoosier Salon.  Young artists from University High School and Carmel High School will present their art and we are privileged to see these emerging artists.
