On Sept. 1, from 1-6 p.m., Market District will host a specialty hiring event, focused on filling remaining positions for its signature restaurant, table by Market District, and in-store Beauty Bar salon. The new Carmel Market District is set to open this fall at 116th St. and Spring Mill Road.
At the open interview event, being held at Market District’s recruiting center at 9445 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, job candidates will learn about the numerous career opportunities in the restaurant and salon, meet hiring managers and the store leader, sample Market District food truck offerings, apply for immediate openings and participate in interviews. Job offers will be made on-site.
The chef-driven menu is season-fresh and complimented by a selection of local craft beers, and a wine list and market-inspired specialty cocktails. Qualified table by Market District candidates should have at least two years of recent restaurant experience in a high-volume establishment.
The Beauty Bar is an in-store spot where customers can receive blowouts and salon services, as well as free hair, skin and nail care consultation. Market District is seeking licensed salon professionals who currently work in the industry.
“We are looking for experienced hospitality professionals to lead our guests through the unique dining experience at table by Market District,” stated Mike Maraldo, regional vice president of operations at Giant Eagle, Inc. “Our Beauty Bar team members will have the opportunity to share their knowledge about the beauty industry, trends, and product education with our guests.”
