Ballerinas and Bruisers to acquire Choosy Pet products

Ballerinas and Bruisers will acquire the Choosy Pet product line as Phillip Henry, owner of Choosy Pet, has announced his retirement. The pet food will be available at Ballerinas and Bruisers beginning Sept. 15.

“This is a win-win situation,” Schwartz said. “While we are excited for the next chapter for [Henry] and his family, we are just as excited to expand our products and services to our customers and build relationships with the Choosy Pet customers in hopes to earn their trust and loyalty. We are dog owners as well and understand the importance of quality dog and cat food.”

Located in the heart of downtown Zionsville, Ballerinas and Bruisers is a boutique that offers children’s apparel, accessories and gifts for the home and has offered unique pet-related items during its eight year history. Upon learning of Henry’s eminent retirement, Schwartz decided to bring in the brands of dog and cat food that Choosy Pet has offered for the last six years.

Choosy Pet will remain open through Sept. 25 and will hold a retirement/moving sale. Henry said the decision to retire was not an easy one, and he is planning to pursue “some new and exciting opportunities.”

“It has been an extreme pleasure for my family and I to serve our customers and friends over the years. We will truly miss the experiences that we’ve shared,” Henry said. “We feel good about leaving our customers in the good hands of Steve and his staff at Ballerinas and Bruisers. Thanks for all of the memories.”
