Noblesville fall programming announced

CN Parks 1

The Noblesville Parks and Recreation Department has announced its programming opportunities for September and October. Classes are available for all ages and include a variety of topics from education to cooking to health and wellness.

“I’m really excited to start the fall season of programming at Noblesville Parks,” recreation director Nichole Haberlin said. “As the weather gets cooler, thoughts turn to sports and outdoor activities.”

Classes also are available for time in the outdoors with master naturalist Karen LaMere. LeMere will offer nature hikes, bird watching, local natural resources and even an edible plants class.

“Fall is a great time to get out in nature. Birds are migrating, leaves are changing, insects are hibernating and reptiles and amphibians are moving to hibernating ground,” LaMere said. “All of the activities are hands-on — things to look at, touch and hold, taste and smell.”
