UPDATE: Arcadia Town Marshal Todd Uhrick has reported missing Arcadia resident Gay Lynn Shepard has been safely located. At approximately 6:30 p.m., Shepard was located in Cicero.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and Town of Arcadia Police Dept. are searching for a missing person.
Gay Lynn Shepard, 61, a white female was last seen walking southbound on Ind. 19 between Arcadia and Cicero on the afternoon of Sept. 17.
Shepard is 4-foot 10-inches in height and weighs approximately 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a purple t-shirt, blue jeans and blue tennis shoes.
Police are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts or who may have seen her to call Hamilton County 9-1-1 Emergency Communications at 773-1282 or 984-3456.
