After Thanksgiving, shoppers may be thinking about Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, but this year, Riley Children’s Foundation is encouraging Hoosiers to save their money for Giving Tuesday—which takes place Dec. 1.
Riley Children’s Foundation launched The Gift of Hope Happens Here, the third annual year-end giving campaign, to support patients at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health. This year, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is serving as the Giving Ambassador for the campaign and will participate in a live Q&A session on Giving Tuesday.
The Riley Giving Tuesday site will feature celebrity Q&A sessions throughout the day with Andrew Luck, John Andretti, Jeff Burton, Jon McLaughlin, Riley kids and leadership, corporate partners and other notable Hoosiers. Visit RileyKids.org/GivingTuesday for the most up-to-date celebrity schedule. The site will tally real-time donation totals, Riley social media feeds and link to The Gift of Hope Happens Here commercial. Donors will receive a special thank you video from Andrew Luck.
The Gift of Hope Happens Here campaign, supported statewide by Fifth Third Bank and Indiana Blood Center, raises funds and provides hope to thousands of families seeking help for seriously ill and injured children – care that only Riley Hospital for Children can provide.
