Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation is inviting families to the Monon Community Center on Leap Day for a morning of free family activities, geared toward children ages 6 months to 5 years.
Parents and children can begin Feb. 29 with a Winter Kids Concert from 10 to 11 a.m featuring the Tides Duo. The concert will showcase classical children’s hits that encourage kids to participate by singing and dancing with the performer. The concert will be followed by Toddler Open Play from 11 a.m. to noon. Finally, open swim will take place in the indoor activity pool from noon to 1 p.m.
