On Sunday, February 28th, five 8th grade students from Zionsville Middle School accepted their very prestigious art awards on the stage of Clowe’s Hall at Butler University. Lauren Baker won a gold key in Scholastic for a printmaking project, Sarah Petersen won a gold key for a Stop Motion animation, and the group of Camryn Gietl, Katie O’Beirn and Emily Brown also won gold keys for a stop motion animation. Lauren’s print was also selected to travel with the “Art.Write.Now” exhibit!
