Letter: Hillary is Indiana’s advocate

Editor,

Hillary Clinton is exactly who the United States needs – an experienced advocate. For all of her life, Hillary has served the American people who have seen effective, important results.

In her first job at the Children’s Defense Fund, Hillary fought for children and families to level the playing field for them and give them equal opportunity. Hillary continued these efforts as First Lady, where she secured health coverage for 8 million children.

As Secretary of State, Hillary rebuilt strong foreign relations after the Bush Administration. In that time she actively advocated for women’s rights and LGBT rights throughout the world, She additionally stood for and encouraged religious protection in her travels.

As a fighter for women’s rights, Hillary is exactly who Indiana needs while we are experiencing an over-reaching state government that is sanctioning harsh restrictions on women’s health.

Hillary Clinton understands the ins and outs of getting things done. America needs her on the world scale to protect our nation and deal with issues threatening the United States, and she is who we need to facilitate social change right here in our own neighborhoods. Hillary for Indiana and Hillary for America.
