Andrew Dudley Hillard Jr., 74, Noblesville, died April 11 at St.Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. He was born June 25, 1941 to Andrew and Julia (Wilson) Hillard in Lexington, Ky.

Andy graduated from Lafayette High School in Lexington and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. For 30 years, he worked for Chrysler Corporation in Indianapolis and Kokomo, retiring in 1996. Andy was a member of Shadeland Baptist Church in Indianapolis and formerly the UAW. He was very athletic and enjoyed tennis, basketball, softball and golf. Andy enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s sporting events and was their biggest fan. He also loved to read.

Andy is survived by his daughters, Lisa Hayslett and Andrea (Brant) Treon; sons, Eric Hillard and Todd Hillard; seven grandchildren, Megan Bosley, Jacob Covey, Andrew “Dillon” Treon, Alexandra “Darby” Treon, Mason Hillard, Ashley Hillard and Brock Hillard; six great-grandchildren; brothers Edward Ray Hillard and Ronald Scott Hillard; several nieces and nephews; and mother of his children, Rita Hillard. He is also survived by his second wife, Cynthia Hillard; stepdaughters, Sharon Albright, Kimberly Greene, and Michelle Yosha; and many step-grandchildren, including Shawn Jackson, Jonathon Peeleman, and Carissa Feurgeson.

In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Hillard.
