Glenn Lee Hunter, 73, Noblesville, died April 19 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born July 3, 1942 in Kansas City, Mo., to Robert Lee and Mary (Benedict) Hunter. He married Phyllis Gill on Nov. 27, 1965, and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Matthew Glenn (Amanda) Hunter of Duluth, Minn. and Bradley Gill (Lori) Hunter of New Orleans, La.; granddaughters, Addison, Hanna and Sigourney; grandson Kieran; and sister Charlene Alexander of New Palestine, Ind. Glenn’s son, Robert Samuel Hunter, preceded him in death.

Glenn loved his alma mater, University of Oklahoma, where he was a member of the football and golf teams. Golf was a sport he continued to play and love, tallying seven holes-in-one through the years.

Glenn was very active at Noblesville First United Methodist Church, where he led Bible studies, sang in the chancel choir and performed with the Four Gospels quartet.

Memorial contributions may be made to Glenn’s beloved Music Ministry at NFUMC, 2051 E. Monument St., Noblesville, IN 46060.

The family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Home with Glenn’s care.
