Noblesville residents have one more day to register for Noblesville Parks and Recreation Dept.’s two daylong, outdoor experiences for youth ages 12 to 18 with its Teen Day Adventures.

“Each day is specifically designed to provide a unique adventure for older children and teenagers. While structured and supervised, teens can embark on their own adventure and the outdoors them a chance to appreciate and connect with nature,” Noblesville Recreation Director Nichole Haberlin stated.

The two Teen Day Adventures are:

McCormick’s Creek State Park Day Hike (June 24):

Join the trip to Spencer to enjoy the sights and beauty of Indiana’s oldest state park. Among its numerous amenities, the park includes more than 10 miles of well-marked hiking trails taking you past unique features like Wolf Cave, Twin Bridges and the Falls on McCormick’s Creek. Cost is $63 for residents and $72 for nonresidents.

White River Canoe Trip (July 21):

Spend the day on the river during this four-hour canoe trip. Enjoy the scenic views from the boat as you soak in the sun and get a little arm workout in. Cost is $70 for residents and $80 for nonresidents.

Each Teen Day Adventure is 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. with buses leaving Forest Park Lodge at 9 a.m. Transportation and lunch are provided. Deadline to register is tomorrow, June 10. For more, or to register, contact the department’s recreation office at 317-770-5750.
