Construction contractors plan to close various ramps at the Interstate 465 and U.S. 31/Meridian Street interchange this week to pave a final surface layer on parts of the new U.S. 31 Hamilton County freeway project.
Traffic restrictions are scheduled to start at 9 p.m. on the dates below and end before 6 a.m. the next day. Message signs will be used to alert motorists, who are advised to seek alternate routes during the following closures:
- On July 20, the westbound I-465 ramp to southbound Meridian Street will be closed.
- On July 21, the eastbound I-465 ramp to southbound Meridian Street will be closed.
- On July 22, the eastbound I-465 ramp to northbound U.S. 31 will be closed.
Work is dependent on favorable weather, and schedules are subject to change.
