Automobile art takes over Carmel art gallery Hoosier Salon for Artomobilia


Hoosier Salon’s Carmel gallery has been transformed for Carmel ‘s Artomobilia this Saturday , Aug. 27 . The non-profit art gallery features automobile-related works ranging from hyper-realistic illustrations to impressionist paintings by a variety of Indiana artists.  In addition, renowned artist Bill Patterson from Texas will create a painting of an automobile outdoors in front of the gallery starting at 10 a.m.  Patterson is well – known in auto racing circles and performs what are called ‘live paintings’ internationally for corporations such as Mazda, IBM, FedEx and  Microsoft, as well as events with Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Hoosier Salon Carmel gallery is at 22 Range Line R d. and is open Saturdays until 8:30 p.m. Carmel Artomobilia is a celebration of the art and design of the automobile.
