Anniversary celebration – Perfektfit, 1555 W. Oak St., will celebrate its fourth anniversary from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 10. The family-friendly event will include food, raffle prizes, specials and more.

Ribbon cutting – A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 9 for a new Little Free Library outside of the SullivanMunce Cultural Center, 225 W. Hawthorne St. In addition to books, the library will include sketchbooks.

Opening reception – Cynthia J. Young, executive director of the SullivanMunce Cultural Center, will exhibit her work from Sept. 10 to Nov. 2 at the center, 225 W. Stadium dedication – Traders Point Christian High School will dedicate its new stadium, Knights Stadium, during the home football game Sept. 9 vs. Martin County. Game time is 7:30 p.m. with dedication ceremonies to be held during halftime. Tickets are $5 each (children 12 and under free) and are available at the gate. Knights Stadium is on the west side of the Traders Point Christian Church and Traders Point Christian Schools campus at 6600 S. Indianapolis Rd., Whitestown.

Benefit concert – A fundraising concert to benefit Love INC will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 at Zionsville Fellowship Church, 9090 W. Oak St. The Purduettes will be featured. Drinks and desserts will be provided at 7 p.m. and the program begins at 7:30 p.m. Silent auction items available. Tickets can be purchased at www.loveincbc.org.

Service club seeks youth – The Zionsville Alpha Leo Club (ZALC) is a service club that includes youth who are home-schooled, as well as students from nearby private and public middle and high schools. Members plan and choose their own projects and aim to make a difference in their neighborhoods. The next meeting is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Lions Clubhouse, 115 S. Tutors needed – The United Way is seeking volunteer tutors for its ReadUP program. Tutors will work about four hours a month helping third graders at Hattie B. Stokes and Harney Elementary schools. Award nominations sought – Boone REMC is accepting applications for awards that recognize the community spirit of Indiana’s youth. The Youth Power and Hope Awards program honors students in fifth through eighth grades who are leaders in their communities and whose parents live on electric cooperative lines in Indiana. Lilly scholarship applications – The 2017 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship application process is open. The scholarship provides full tuition, fees, and a special allocation of up to $900 per year for books and equipment for four years at any accredited Indiana public or private university.
