Phyllis Marie Sears, 86, Speedway, died Sept. 23 at IU Health West Hospital in Avon. She was born Oct 10, 1929 to Clem and Slyvia (Berg) Ridgeway in Hamilton County.
Phyllis was a retired teacher and enjoyed a weekly dinner club with her retired teacher friends. She enjoyed sewing, playing card games and reading the daily news. Phyllis loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Sears, and daughter, Sharon Thomas.
