Truett
The Center for the Performing Arts has hired a new Vice President of Marketing & Communications. Effective Jan. 30, Mark H. Truett will come to the Center from the Society for the Performing Arts in Houston, Texas where he is director of marketing.
According to a press release from the CFTPA, Truett has a career spanning more than 20 years. His previous posts have included director of marketing and external communications at the Long Center for the Performing Arts in Austin, Texas; senior director of southwest region marketing for Key Brand Entertainment (Broadway Across America); and marketing manager for the Houston Ballet.
“Mark has the full spectrum of skills and expertise we need, from traditional and digital marketing to strategic planning to team leadership,” stated interim President and CEO for the Center and the Foundation Jeffery C. McDermott in a press release to Current. “He will be a key member of our senior administrative and management team.”
