William “Bill” James Savin, 73, Noblesville, died Feb. 18 at St.Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born July 4, 1943, in Milwaukee, Wisc.

Bill had worked for Lantz Medical as a medical device technician and had retired from Product Action, where he had been a machinist. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army and was a member of the Noblesville American Legion. Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman and was an antique fishing lure collector.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pat (Johnson) Savin, children Jason (Joellen) Savin, Matthew (Emily) Savin and Jenny (Tyler Johnson) Savin; grandchildren Abigail, Jason Jr. and Charlotte, brother-in-law Hector Cervera, brothers- and sister-in-laws Sue and Larry Pals, Jim and Linda Johnson, Bill and Ruthann Johnson, Ron and Mary Coletti and Mike and Suzanne Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Savin, and his sister, Harriet Cervera.
