Zionsville basketball fans can support local school teams and cheer on their favorite college basketball programs at Eagle Madness, a Zionsville Athletic Booster Club fundraiser returning March 18.

The third annual fundraiser is for adults 21 and older and will include tailgate food and March Madness games broadcast live. Guests can come and go at any point during the program.

“The attire is jeans and jerseys. This is a casual event. You can come with a group of friends, or you can come on your own,” said Kelly Antcliff, athletic director at Zionsville Middle School and Zionsville West Middle School.

Guests can enjoy live music from Groove Essential, a group led by two band directors at Zionsville Middle School.

“It’s a really good way to incorporate other elements of our school district into this event,” Antcliff said. “It’s not often where you can watch all the games and hear great live music for a low ticket price.”

The silent auction will include autographed items from Zionsville Community High School graduate Brad Stevens, head coach of the Boston Celtics.

The event isn’t just for parents of student athletes, Antcliff said.

“For us, it’s just as much about the camaraderie as raising funds for all three of our schools,” she said. “It’s for anyone in the community that would like to come out.”
