Snapshot: Z’Greenfest educates about plants, recycling

More than 600 attendees visited more than two dozen booths, programs and exhibitors at the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library April 23 for Z’GreenFest. Topics ranged from native plants and local wildlife to watershed and recycling, among many others. “We want it small enough so people can learn something new but big enough to support a wide variety of interests,” said Laura Gangstad, youth services librarian and assistant department head who was part of the Z’GreenFest committee.
