Mercantile Boulevard resurfacing begins tonight

The City of Noblesville will begin and complete its final Community Crossing grant project tonight, May 10, as Mercantile Boulevard will be resurfaced.

The roadway runs parallel to Ind. 37 and is located between the numerous restaurants and business that face the highway and the larger businesses to the east like Meijer, Lowe’s and Best Buy.

Work will begin in the evening and start at the south end where the road comes to a “T” with Cumberland Road so it causes the least disruption to businesses and motorists.

The project scope is Mercantile Boulevard between Cumberland Road and Pleasant Street. Its estimated cost is $214,000 for 0.7 miles, including a roundabout at Town & Country Boulevard. This project was part of the City of Noblesville’s 50/50 matching Community Crossing grant, received last fall.
