Noblesville firefighters find body in Stoney Creek

The Noblesville Police Dept. announced today the finding of a body in Stoney Creek near Audubon Court yesterday morning, May 26, around 11 a.m.

The body was discovered by members of the Noblesville Fire Dept. as they were conducting boat training in Stoney Creek.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division, as well as the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office, were called  to the scene to investigate.

Police say an autopsy was conducted today, May 27, and the identity of the victim was determined to be Paul A. Kelly, 43, Noblesville.

Kelly was reported missing on May 3, 2017, and was last seen on May 2, 2017, at approximately 2 p.m.

Investigators say they have no evidence at this time to believe that criminal activity was involved.
