Announced July 25, guests of Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville can now expect improved cell phone connections.

AT&T said it has boosted its mobile internet coverage by upgrading its network, adding capacity to its distributed antenna system.

“This is like adding more lanes to a highway, resulting in less network congestion and more reliable service,” a press release from the company stated. “This gives customers a better wireless experience at concerts or events.”

“A big part of the concert experience is sharing the excitement of being there via posts, texts and calls for concert goers,” stated Andrew Newport, Klipsch Music Center general manager. “We’re enthused about this newest upgrade by AT&T to benefit music lovers, and appreciate the investment.”

According to AT&T, the company has invested more than $350 million in Indianapolis-area wireless and wired networks since 2014.

The company said its mobile network has increased approximately 250,000 percent since 2007, and a majority of that traffic is video.
