Carmel police are requesting assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a home invasion robbery that led to a 15-year-old girl being tied up with a belt.

The incident took place at approximately 4 p.m. Aug. 24 in the 11200 block of Woodbury Drive in the Kingswood neighborhood just east of Gray Road. Police said the suspects entered through an unlocked screen door and took cash, jewelry and some small electronics from the home. The girl was not injured and was able to escape from the restraint after the suspects left, according to Lt. Joe Bickel of the Carmel Police Dept.

The girl’s mother was outside gardening during the robbery and was unaware of what happened until it was over, Bickel said.

One suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’9” with an athletic build in his late 20s to early 30s. He has black hair, was wearing a black tank bop, black sweatpants, black tennis style shoes with white soles and blue gloves.

The other suspect is described as approximately 5’7”, athletic build in his middle to late 20s with black hair, wearing a black tank top, black sweatpants, black tennis style shoes with white soles, a black baseball style hat with a flat bill and blue gloves.

The suspect vehicle is described as a two-door gold/beige and/or silver/gray sedan with an Indiana registration plate starting with the letters VH.
