One fatality has been confirmed after a small plane crashed this morning at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport in Fishers, 9913 Willow View Rd.
“There has been a private aircraft incident with one fatality. The airport is closed,” said Stephanie McFarland spokesperson for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport.
Fishers police and fire are responding. Indiana State Police also are assisting.
