Snapshot: Shop for Kids provides unique opportunity for children

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office held its annual Shop for Kids event Dec. 9 at the Target in Fishers. Members of the Sheriff’s Office hosted 51 less-fortunate kids from Hamilton County and took them on a holiday shopping trip. Each youth was partnered with an employee and taken to Target under police escort with lights and sirens. There, they spent $150 each on gifts for themselves and their families. Some gifts included winter clothes, boots, toys and more. (Photos by Anna Skinner)
