The City of Noblesville’s annual Easter Egg Hunt and festivities have been rescheduled to April 7 after the original, March 24 event was postponed due to weather.

The hunt will take place at Forest Park, 701 Cicero Rd.

Children are invited to come and enjoy lots of fun activities beginning at 10 a.m. at Shelter 5, including bounce houses, a D  and vehicle tours from the city’s police and fire departments. The Easter bunny also will be present.

The hunt will begin at 11 a.m. sharp and includes four age groups for children up to 10 years old (1-2, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-10). No registration is required to participate.

“Although the weather hasn’t cooperated this year, we still want to hold an enjoyable event for the children and provide them an opportunity to hunt eggs, win prizes and of course get their photo taken with the Easter Bunny,” Noblesville Parks Director Brandon Bennett stated in a press release.

The Noblesville Sunrisers Kiwanis annual pancake breakfast also has been rescheduled and will take place prior to the Egg Hunt in the Forest Park Inn from 8 to 10:30 a.m. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and milk. Cost is $5 per person, and all proceeds will benefit a children’s charity.
