CIZ COM 0626 Concert 1

Jesse Ray and the Carolina Catfish played June 20 at Lincoln Park as part of the Zionsville Cultural District Lincoln Park Concert Series. Every Wednesday throughout the summer months, the ZCD hosts Mr. Daniel, a musician for children, at 6:30 p.m., followed by a concert by a carefully chosen musician, featuring a new genre every week.

Jesse Ray and the Carolina Catfish played rock ‘n’ roll, with a blues and country-influenced sound. Ray’s raw, wailing vocals and hard-hitting guitar showed rockabilly roots. The ZCD organization coordinates artistic, history-based and cultural experiences within the community. The next concert series is set for 7 p.m. June 27, featuring the pop band Wax Nostalgic from Toronto.
