UPDATE: Two in custody after early morning robbery in Noblesville

An early morning armed robbery incident in Noblesville has ended after a nearly five hour standoff with police.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, at 4:59 a.m. today, Aug. 29, sent out a media alert about the incident taking place in the 200 block of Fox Circle Drive, near Greenfield Avenue and Ind. 37.

According to police, the first report of the incident was made at approximately 1:30 a.m., and police believe the robbery originated as a sale of electronic gaming equipment.

Police said victims described the subjects as two black males who displayed a weapon during the transaction. The two suspects remained in the home after victims and residents of the home had left.

At approximately 6:30 a.m., both suspects surrendered to authorities at the scene. Two suspects are in custody. Police said names of the individuals along with other information will be released once investigators complete interviews and scene processing. No injuries were reported.
