HFHBC has provided safe, affordable housing in Boone County since 1984. It is designed to serve residents of Boone County and to meet their needs throughout the home ownership process. It also serves as a link between donors and beneficiaries, providing a medium through which quality housing can be built by the people of Boone County for the people of Boone County. Habitat homeowners pay an interest-free, no-profit mortgage which is then used to help build more houses.
