The new Riverview Health Westfield Hospital, northeast of U.S. 31 and Ind. 32, will open at 7 a.m. Oct. 23. This phase will open the first two floors of the six-story building first.

“It’s not just a beautiful building – this new hospital was built with the community in mind, so we’re thrilled to officially be providing advanced healthcare services to the people of Westfield and beyond,” Riverview Health CEO and President Seth Warren stated in a press release. “It has taken the hard work and diligent planning of many team members to make this project a reality, so it’s incredibly rewarding to see our doors open and staff members serving patients.”

In addition to offering a 24/7 emergency room, the hospital will offer urgent care from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Patients unsure of if they need urgent or emergency care will be assessed at the hospital and treated accordingly.

Riverview Health plans to open the remaining floors over the next few months, which will include a larger inpatient unit.

Patients will also have access to Riverview Health Physicians Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, which offers a walk-in orthopedic clinic, outpatient rehabilitation services and more.
