Georgia-based Ascent Hospitality Management Co. is planning a dual-branded Aloft and Element hotel on the vacant 4.8-acre site. The 161,000-square-foot building would include 230 hotel rooms, meeting space, a bar, two restaurants and other amenities.
The site is near four other hotels: Drury Plaza, Comfort Inn, Courtyard by Marriott and Holiday Inn.
