The Zionsville Fire Dept. will escort Santa around the Town of Zionsville Dec. 12 through 25. Santa will ride atop a fire engine during ZFD’s annual Driver Familiarization Training.
Nightly routes start Dec. 12 and are offered through Christmas Eve. All routes start at 6:30 p.m. and end by 9 p.m. Residents may see emergency lights and hear holiday music as Santa approaches.
ZFD and Santa will not visit every street but will attempt to cover as many areas as time permits. Many neighborhoods will have designated areas where families can visit Santa. Emergency runs are the first priority and nightly routes and times are subject to change as a result. ZFD will attempt to cover those neighborhoods on another date.
The route schedules and information will be updated at facebook.com/zionsvillefiredepartment. ZFD requests children remain a safe distance from Santa’s fire engine. Residents can message the Facebook page with any questions.
