For Fishers residents served by Republic Services trash pickup, normal service will be running one-day behind due to the New Year’s Day holiday.
Christmas trees will be picked up through Jan. 11.
As a reminder, Republic Services does not recycle the following items:
- Aluminum foil
- Batteries
- Bubble wrap
- Cellophane
- Food waste
- Glass
- Light bulbs
- Plastic bags
- Plastic-coated paper
- Polystyrene foam plastic (such as foam packing peanuts and Styrofoam®)
- Ribbon
- Stickers & address labels
- Tissue paper
- Waxed paper
- Wrapping paper (foil or glitter)
