NFD investigating fire at Forest Park

Shortly before 3 a.m. April 5, the Noblesville Fire Dept. responded to an outside fire in Forest Park.

NFD spokesperson Trevor Hash said the fire was first noticed by a motorist who saw the fire in the distance and called 911.

Hash said first units on scene reported heavy smoke and flames coming from the north end of a restroom building near the center of the park. The building was unoccupied and units were able to quickly bring the fire under control.

No injuries were reported, and Hash said an investigation into the cause of the fire is still under way.
