Amazon driver carjacked at gunpoint in Fishers

An individual called the Hamilton County 911 Communications Center at 10:13 a.m. June 25 to report he had been carjacked at gunpoint at the intersection of Minden Drive and Dorster Street. According to a press release from the Fishers Police Dept., the victim claimed he didn’t know the suspect.

The suspect showed a handgun and demanded the victim exit the vehicle. Once the victim exited, the suspect fled in the victim’s car, a late model white Ford 250 transit van with a light blue paper on the front dashboard, and traveled eastbound toward Olio Road. The suspect was originally a passenger in a black GMC SUV, also which fled the scene.

The victim is a delivery driver for Amazon, and the stolen vehicle contains Amazon packages.

The suspect is described as a slender black male in his mid-twenties. He was wearing gray running pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, a black beanie and black shoes.
