Fishers residents are very proud of their community. There are many beautiful neighborhoods that make this a very desirable place to live. However, there is a group of people who contribute greatly to the aesthetic beauty of our community but receive very little recognition. I am referring to your HOA board. These volunteers serve their communities with no compensation of any kind and very little support from the residents. I live in a community of more than 1,000 homes and have recently attended the HOA meetings. My husband and I were the only residents in attendance. It is amazing the hours these board members spend each month caring for our community. The next time you encounter one of your board members, take a moment to tell them thank you. They deserve it.
