Zionsville Fire Dept. extinguishes house fire

At 5:53 a.m. Jan. 8, the Zionsville Fire Department received a report of a house on fire in the Sugarbush subdivision. The fire was quickly located and extinguished by fire crews.

Units arrived to find a two-story residence with light smoke showing. There were no civilian or firefighter injuries reported, according to a press release. ZFD crews were able to safely remove one of resident’s large dogs uninjured as well.

The fire is under investigation, according to the press release.

Whitestown and Carmel Fire Depts. assisted ZFD along with The Zionsville Police Department.
