Noblesville Schools to use eLearning day Jan. 14 due to boil advisory

0
Noblesville Schools students will use an eLearning day Jan. 14 due to the ongoing Indiana American Water boil water advisory.

Indiana American Water issued a boil water advisory to all Noblesville customers after a loss of pressure at the White River North Water Treatment facility. The pressure loss was caused by an equipment malfunction.
Indiana American Water customers in Noblesville are being advised to boil water for at least three minutes prior to consumption until further notice. Water still can be used for bathing, washing and other common uses.
A repair has been made to the system, and water samples will be collected and analyzed to ensure no contamination has entered the water distribution system. A boil advisory must be issued per Indiana regulations any time water pressure drops below 20 pounds per square inch in any part of a community’s distribution system.
