Where’s Amy attended Carmel director and composer Ashton Gleckman’s award-winning documentary “We Shall Not Die Now.” The special screening for Holocaust Remembrance Day took place at the Indianapolis JCC. The film featured World War II veteran and Carmel resident Ernie Lorch and Indianapolis Holocaust survivor Frank Grunwald, who spoke with Gleckman in a Q & A after the screening. The film won the 2019 Audience Choice Award at the Heartland Film Festival and is available on Prime Video and other streaming platforms. It’s a powerful film that should be viewed with family, friends and students so that we never forget and continue to tell the story of the Holocaust and its survivors. Keep your eye out for Gleckman, whose next documentary will be about a poor Kentucky town near the Appalachian Mountains.
