Reconnecting Carmel Task Force to hold first meeting May 5

The Reconnecting Carmel Task Force will hold its first meeting at 11 a.m. May 5 to discuss how businesses and organizations in the city can safely reopen and reconnect following state guidelines.

Task force members represent several sectors of the economy and community, including business, entertainment, hospitality, religion and retail. The group is chaired by Deborah Wood, CEO of DWA Healthcare Communications Group.

The meeting will be livestreamed on the city’s website at carmel.in.gov/department-services/community-relations-and-economic-development/carmel-city-government-tv. The group is expected to meet prior to each phase of reopening the economy as presented by Gov. Eric Holcomb on May 1.
