ISDH reports 389 additional COVID-19 cases

The Indiana State Dept. of Health today announced 389 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing to 41,746 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the new coronavirus, following corrections.

As of today, nearly 37 percent of ICU beds and more than 81 percent of ventilators are available.

A total of 2,327 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19, an increase of 23 since yesterday. Another 189 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 392,887 tests have been reported to the ISDH, up from 384,722 on Thursday.
