The Indiana State Dept. of Health today announced 809 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing to 63,678 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the new coronavirus, following corrections.
A total of 2,725 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19, an increase of 16 since yesterday. Another 199 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the ISDH and occurred over multiple days.
As of today, 44.6 percent of ICU beds and 83.5 percent of ventilators are available across the state.
To date, 716,809 tests have been reported to the ISDH, up from 707,791 on Monday.
