Firefighters at Carmel Fire Dept. Station 44 stand and salute the funeral procession of Paul Woodward, a 25-year veteran of the Indianapolis Fire Dept. who lived in Carmel. Woodward, who died July 2, joined IFD in 1957. He received the Robertson Ragsdale Award from the American legion for rescuing two people from a building fire in 1962.
