Clay Terrace to hold BOO ’n BREW Oct. 24

Clay Terrace announced Oct. 1 this year’s 8th Annual BOO ‘n BREW Fall Festival will be held Oct. 24, offering a day full of fun for everyone at the Carmel shopping center.

Adults can enjoy beer in our beer garden, and the kids can enjoy our annual mall-wide, safe trick-or-treating event. Children ages 10 and under are able to come dressed in a costume and trick-or-treat in the designated area from 2 to 6 p.m.  while supplies last. Other fun activities will include live music from local favorites Stella Luna and the Satellites and Toy Factory, Silly Safari animal shows, face painting, balloon artists, hayrides and more.

The Halloween festivities aren’t just for the kids. The beer garden will be open from 2 to 6 p.m.. Photo ID and wristband are required to receive alcohol. Visitor can enjoy their beer in a complementary signature BOO ‘n BREW cup with purchase of $5 beer from local craft breweries including; TwoDEEP Brewing, Daniel’s Vineyard, Indiana City Brewing Company, and Bier Brewery.

From 2 to 6 p.m., there will be a trick or treating store to store and along he  boulevard and pumpkin picking and decorating while supplies last as well as face painting and balloon artists.

On the Main Stage, Stella Luna and the Satellites will perform from 2 to 3:30 p.m. and Toy Factory from 4 to 6 p.m. Silly Safari Animal Show will be 2 and 4 p.m. at the Lawn at Clay Terrace. A pet costume contest will start at 2:30 with judging taking place at 3 p.m.

In response to the continued need to address COVID-19, the center has proactively implemented additions to the Code of Conduct, effective until further notice. These additions include the following guidelines: Guests and vendors are encouraged to wear masks and follow the CDC guidelines and cover their mouth and nose with a cloth face cover in accordance with state and local guidelines. Guests should stay 6 feet apart. Additional sanitation station will be in place, face coverings are strongly recommended. To ensure the safety of guest additional traffic flow directional signage will be in place. Guests should follow these directions to maintain social distancing.

In addition, Clay Terrace already rigorous disinfectant and cleaning practices will continue, many times per day, including periodically disinfecting areas most susceptible to the spread of germs. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer dispensers are located in highly-trafficked areas and walkways for public use.
