Carmel to begin $5.2 million in repaving projects throughout city

Jeffrey McClintock, employee of Reith-Riley Construction Co, works on paving the City Center Drive and Range Line Road roundabout. Reith-Riley is the primary contractor on the project. The roundabout is part of a $13.4 million project that will change traffic patterns on Range Line Road.

The City of Carmel has released the list of roads set to be repaved this year. Some preliminary work is under way, with major construction set to begin April 12. Much of the work is expected to be complete before Aug. 10, although some concrete work may last through November.

Repaving work includes concrete and curb repairs before milling the top surface of the road and replacing it with a new layer. Lane restrictions are expected during the work.

The city will spend $4.2 million on the following repaving projects:

Woodgate

Eden Glen

Carolina Commons

Blue Creek Woods Estates

Deerfield

Waterwood of Carmel

Spring Lake Estates

Forest Glen

Windsor Grove II

Brandywine

Park Northwestern

West Carmel Center/Marketplace

Lakes De Park

Wilson Terrace

Johnson Addition

Carmelwood
