Parking and road closures for Spark!Fishers

With Spark!Fishers coming to the central green and Municipal Drive for five days beginning June 22, parking and traffic patterns will be adjusted. There are different situations depending on the day of Spark!Fishers. June 22 to June 25 have one arraignment, while June 26 has a different one.

Nickel Plate Trail construction

Construction of the pedestrian tunnel has already closed a portion of 116th Street to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The section of 116th Street east of Municipal Drive and west of Maple Street is closed and will remain so for each day of Spark!Fishers.

Parking and Traffic from June 22 to June 25

Parking won’t available around the Hamilton East Public Library on 5 Municipal Dr.; in the lots on Municipal Drive north of the City Services Building and Fishers Fire Dept. Station 91; in the Meyer Najem Construction lot off of the Nickel Plate Trail; or on the north side of the Post Office off Fishers Center Drive.

Durface parking is available off Municipal Drive north of Sam Shafer Numismatics and Flexware Innovation Inc.; along Municipal Drive on the south sides of both the City Services Building and Fishers Fire Dept. Station 91; and on either side of the central green. Garage parking is available along Municipal Drive in the Switch and police garage, off Maple Street in the Spark garage and off Lantern Road in The Edge garage.

Parking and Traffic on June 26

All the parking along Municipal Drive, including surface and garage, will be closed to the public, with one exception: the police department garage will be open to people with a disability license plate, parking placard, or Police Garage parking pass. The Forum Credit Union Headquarters parking lot on 11313 USA Pkwy., will be open for parking, with free shuttle service starting at 1:30 p.m. on June 26.

Rideshare pick-up and drop-off will be available at The Edge Parking Garage, 8890 E. 116th St.
